Beer Wings for all

It’s time for the game and we’re helping make your party planning easy with our Beer Wings! These delicious beer wings use Bundaberg Ginger Beer and Bundaberg Root Beer to deliver unique, delicious wings your guests will love! Throw in a few ice cold Bundaberg Brews and you’ll have a feast (and drinks) for a crowd!

Slow Cooker ROOT BEER WINGS

  • 3Lb chicken wings
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup barbeque sauce, plus more to taste for brushing
  • 1 ½ bottles 12oz Bundaberg Root Beer
  • Brown sugar, to taste
  1. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Season chicken wings with salt and pepper and add to slow cooker
  2. Add barbeque sauce and Root Beer and stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours
  3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, remove the wings from slow cooker and place on the tray
  4. Brush the wings with the additional barbeque sauce and sprinkle with some brown sugar
  5. Broil for 8-10 minutes until golden brown
  6. Enjoy!

 

Sweet and Sticky GINGER BEER WINGS

  • 2Lb Chicken wings
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 ½ bottles 12oz Bundaberg Ginger Beer
  • 4oz steak sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 2in piece fresh ginger, peeled and finely grated
  1. Preheat oven to 395℉ (355℉ fan forced)
  2. Place chicken in baking dish, sprinkle generously with salt and cook in oven for 30mins
  3. Meanwhile, in a medium pan, heat oil and gently fry onion for 5minutes or until soft. Add remaining ingredients and stir. Bring to boil and bubble, stirring occasionally, for 18-20min or until reduced and thickened
  4. Remove chicken from oven and increase temperature to 430℉ (395℉  fan forced). Pour sauce over chicken and mix to coat
  5. Cook in oven for further 15-20min until golden and sticky
  6. Enjoy!
