Big Batch Cocktails for Fall

When Summer is over, and the wind starts to get that little bit cooler, you know that Fall is on its way. Crunchy leaves are underfoot, you can smell that pumpkin spice season is just around the corner, and you’re already planning your Halloween party outfit.

With the changing seasons comes a bunch of awesome holidays, and we wanted to give you the perfect big batch cocktail recipes for Fall. Whip up a pitcher for your Halloween or Thanksgiving party (or anytime you want to celebrate, really!).

Big batch cocktails for Fall are great for so many reasons – namely the fact that when you make up a big batch, it’s one less thing you’re going to have to do during the party. Batch cocktails are such an easy way to provide drinks! We have collected some of our favorite Fall cocktail recipes to make planning your next party that little bit easier.

Handy Pitcher Tips:  Make sure that if you’re using juices in your cocktails, you only make them up the night before. Don’t be too prepared as the juice can mix with the spirits and do all sorts of weird and not-so-wonderful things. When using Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, it can be helpful to mix up the spirits and other ingredients that require measurement beforehand – and top with sodas when you’re ready to serve. This will make sure your drinks are sparkling and fresh.

Big Batch Fall Sangria (Serves 8)

We love nothing more than sipping on a fruity sangria as the chill from the Fall breeze tickles around the edges of our jackets. Build up the bonfire and get some great friends around to help you whip up a couple of pitchers’ worth of this delicious brew. Now we’re not culinary experts, but this Fall sangria would go perfectly with a big ol’ batch of Guava Chicken Wings.

Ingredients

  • 4 bottles (12.7 fl oz. ea.) Bundaberg Ginger Beer
  • 6 oz. Cointreau
  • 6 oz. peach liquor
  • 6 oz. St Germain
  • 8 oz. lime juice
  • Slices of lemon and orange to garnish
  • Ice

Method

Add all of the spirits into your pitcher, along with the lime juice. Fill your pitcher ¾ of the way up with ice, and then top with Bundaberg Ginger Beer. If you’re making ahead of time, save the ice and the Ginger Beer for when you’re ready to serve. Add sliced fruits and give it a good stir with a long spoon to mix. Pour into tumblers with ice and garnish with lemon and orange slices.

Big Batch Ignite (Serves 8)

This spicy, ginger-fuelled cocktail makes for a great big batch option for your next party or get-together. If you’re a tequila fan, you will love the earthy spice that this spirit imparts alongside the kick of spicy pepper. This is a daring, delicious combination that would work really well with some bean dip and chips, or spicy pulled pork tacos.

Ingredients

  • 4 bottles (12.7 fl oz. ea.) Bundaberg Ginger Beer
  • 14 oz. Blanco Tequila
  • 6 oz. lime juice
  • 2 hot peppers
  • Cilantro sprigs
  • Ice

Method

Measure your tequila and pour into your pitcher. Tear the Cilantro sprigs into pieces and slice your peppers into small strips – add both to your pitcher. Stir the contents of the pitcher to mix together and infuse the spirit with the spice and herb. Add ice until your pitcher is ¾ full and then top with Bundaberg Ginger Beer. Pour into tumblers filled with ice and garnish with a sprig of cilantro.
